At the end of the 21st century, the Earth has become uninhabitable due to the climate crisis and famine. The few survivors have formed an underground colony. The ‘Young Administration’ strictly controls the population. For every newborn, an old person must be sacrificed. This has dramatic consequences when a small family announces the arrival of a new generation. With plenty of humour and allusions to current issues, the film takes a look at the possible future of our society in the face of the climate crisis and deals with a global topic of the utmost topicality.
